Curated Networks

Overview

A curated network is a version of the Findhelp platform that a customer has branded and customized for their community. In Kiip, a curated network will appear as a site name in the left navigation.

Curated networks help customers highlight programs within a customized site. If you see an organization’s name in the left navigation, it means your program has been included in their network.

This may be your own organization's site, or one you recognize, such as a local hospital or community partner. Being part of the curated network makes your program easier to find and allows you to browse other vetted programs within the same network.

Accessing curated networks in Kiip:

Curated networks make it easier to view and manage programs connected to a specific site. Here’s how they work:

  • See the site name: In the left navigation, you’ll see the site name of the networks your program belongs to.
  • Click to explore: Selecting a site name opens a list of all programs featured in that network - no need to perform a program search.
  • Refer clients or share resources: From the program listing page, staff can refer clients to any program in that network or share a link to the program in the client’s room, including programs that are not otherwise listable on Findhelp.

How does a program appear in a curated network?

  • Programs only appear in a curated network if they’ve been specifically tagged by the customer managing that site.
  • You will only see the curated networks that your program has been added to.
  • Both listable and non-listable programs can be included in a curated network.

Can I be in multiple curated networks?

Yes. If you partner with multiple organizations in your community that have customized Findhelp sites, and they choose to feature your program, each organization’s site name will appear in your left navigation.
