What to know about switching to Kiip

If you currently use Findhelp's free program tools - whether you're a customer or a community-based organization - this guide explains what to expect if you (or your partner organizations) move to Kiip.

Switch to Kiip 2-1

Introducing Kiip

Kiip, powered by Findhelp, is a modern case management platform for community programs. It helps teams manage clients in one place—whether they come from Findhelp referrals or other intake channels—while giving seekers more control over their own information. Kiip is free and always will be.

Who Kiip is for & how it fits with Findhelp

Can I use Kiip?

Yes! If you manage clients in a social service or community-based program, you can use Kiip. Any legitimate organization can sign up and get started.

Kiip is available to both customers  and programs using Findhelp’s free tools, making it an easy way to manage cases in one place. It’s free, fully supported, and open to everyone.

How do I get started with Kiip?

You can get started by adding your existing programs or creating new ones. The process is entirely self-serve: create an account, add your programs, and submit them for approval. Once approved, you’ll receive an email with a link to get started.

If you’d like additional support, we offer several resources:

Is Kiip replacing Findhelp’s free program tools?

No. Kiip is not currently replacing Findhelp’s existing program tools. Kiip will support the majority of functionality programs use today, and over time, Kiip will be the tool that will see the majority of new features for most program tools. At this time, there is no immediate plan to discontinue Findhelp’s program tools.

What are some reasons programs benefit from Kiip?

Programs typically use Kiip when they have case management needs that go beyond receiving and responding to referrals. Kiip is a good fit for programs that work with clients over a longer period of time and need to:

  • Collaborate with clients in an ongoing capacity
  • Log services, interactions, and case notes
  • Manage forms and documents
  • Complete paperwork required to maintain program enrollment
  • Conduct intake remotely or with limited staff support

When and why would a program still need to log into Findhelp in addition to Kiip?

By the end of 2026, programs using Findhelp’s free tools will be able to complete all core workflows in Kiip. In the near term, there are still a few cases where logging into Findhelp is required, including:

  • Creating a new screener or updating an existing screener
  • Referring a client to a program that requires a screener (screeners cannot currently be completed in Kiip, though this capability is expected in early 2026)

What you can do in Kiip and limitations

What features do I gain in Kiip, and what features do I lose?

As Kiip continues its evolution as part of Findhelp, we are working towards product parity between Findhelp CBO tools and Kiip's platform. There are still some differences in the available features between the two platforms.

What to confirm before switching

If I’m a trusted network provider, can I meet my partnership requirements using Kiip?

This depends on your specific customer agreement and network requirements. Before switching a program to Kiip, we recommend confirming with your Findhelp contact that your partnership obligations can be met through Kiip.

I’m getting reimbursed for the services I provide clients through Findhelp tools (via an 1115 waiver program or something similar.) Can I use Kiip?

The reimbursement functionality you rely on today is not currently available in Kiip. While there may be certain scenarios where it makes sense to use Kiip alongside your existing Findhelp tools, there are no immediate plans to add or integrate reimbursement functionality into Kiip.

Are program search analytics tracked in my organization’s white label site?

If you use Findhelp’s program search through Kiip, that data is not currently tracked back to your Findhelp network. If your network requires this reporting, Kiip may not be the right fit right now.

Are program flexible referral fields supported in Kiip?

No, program flexible referral fields are configurable fields included as standard on custom white label referrals (e.g. z-codes/MRN). These fields cannot be enabled in Kiip.
